BRIEF

Envision an elegant beachside wedding with a champagne beige color scheme. Soft flowing waves, sweeping typefaces, and adorable stickers to match the occasion. I received the amazing opportunity to design a signage package encapsulating the beauty of this union!

How can I design a wedding package of welcome signs, schedules, and more emphasizing the elegance and simplicity of a beachfront event?

How can I design a wedding package of welcome signs, schedules, and more emphasizing the elegance and simplicity of a beachfront event?

SOLUTION

I focused on minimal detail throughout this package, instead setting my sights on a clean layout with a focus on sparingly used champagne beige. A subtle flowing pattern is used across all prints, tying the package together. I opted for a thin script typeface paired with a simple serif typeface for an elegant, minimal structure.

PROCESS

I began this project by exploring the couple's goals and desires for the package. We discussed colors, themes, and detailing to get a feel for what direction to go into and flesh out. Their moodboard was aimed towards minimalism and a limited color palette. I maintained a strong level of negative space across all deliverables, using a champagne border and wave pattern on every design to tie them all together.

I also designed & self-manufactured custom stickers to decorate the macaron gift boxes given to each guest, one macaron design to exemplify the desserts, and a bubble tea design with a representative label ontop.
