In an era of smart phones, smart plugs, and frankly, smart everything, there remains a need for a smart hub: an all-in-one app meant to be end all be all software to manage every smart device imaginable. This led to the birth of Nucleus, a one-stop application to help control any device from your living room fan to the espresso machine on your kitchen counter.

This led to the birth of Nucleus, a one-stop application to help control any device from your living room fan to the espresso machine on your kitchen counter.

How can I create an end all be all hub for all smart devices, maintaining a clean UI consistency without sacrificing individual device usability?

How can I create an end all be all hub for all smart devices, maintaining a clean UI consistency without sacrificing individual device usability?
SOLUTION
I established a strong focus on the quick access feature in Nucleus to allow users to set favorite devices that could be easily accessible. By maintaining a limited color palette across the app, I could showcase the clean aesthetic consistently. I ensured that every action was straightforward and user-centered so as to not overcrowd or overwhelm with unnecessary features or details.
